fudgester SG Must not pass up a golden opportunity to make money mah. By the way, their LRT system is t3h suX0r. There's no such thing as 'seamless transfer' at the interchange stations. To switch from one line to another, you must exit the station and re-enter the station from another entrance. Heck, when I was at one normal station, I found myself on the wrong side of the platform. To get to to the other side of the platform, I was forced to go down one level, exit the station, cross the road, buy another ticket, and enter the station from another entrance. It almost made me appreciate SMRT. Almost.
av98m SG Yes the fiasco is not over. Barely a week after the first CSA attempt failed, the CB SC is now trying a chiong second time, before the new laws governing en-bloc come into effect Does anyone have any idea when the new law is going to kick in? Now it seems its going to be next month but when exactly? I am so fucking pissed off. If this kind of shit becomes an ongoing trend every 10 years or so I'm getting the fuck out of this country. Can you imagine if you're old, retired, fully paid for your nice home and you suay suay kena forced to move because of en-blocs and because you might not have much $$$ to top-up and buy homes at the newly inflated prices, that you're actually forced to downgrade!? NNB CCB
av98m SG I think that's the plan. Start a new CSA the moment the prev one fails. Repeat until they succeed
hisoka SG ] haiz, sad place. but then again, i'm still not sure which side of the fence i'm on regarding en blocs. on your side, i appreciate your right and sympathise with the want to stay. on the other hand, the stayers are blocking the route of the others and if they are the majority, well our society is based on majority benefiting often to the detriment of the minority
av98m SG Well, no one is stopping the CBs from selling their apartments individually. It all boils down to greed(the speculators), and other cases, stupidity(the idiots who actually believed the SC's lies).
hisoka SG greater profits if together as i said if the sellers are minority so be it. but if they are a majority, refuting them would mean refuting most of what our society is based on. democracy by its nature is the oppression by the majority
hisoka SG you mean those semi-detached and bungalores? if so then yes. it is possible and done b4/ already being done.
hisoka SG go ahead and try to initiate if you want and its prob easier to convince less pple. but i'm not exactly sure but i seem to recall in landed case or with only small number of owners, there need to be 100% agreement.
